You don't mean a 3.7 out of a 4.0, do you? That'd be an A-, which is great. I assume you do mean a C average.
If your grades stay about where they are, you have some choices. You could either pick a community college or private junior college, get your associates, and then transfer; or you could target less competitive four year colleges. It's your choice.
There are four year colleges that aren't at all hard to get into. I don't know your grades or SAT scores, of course, but some colleges that are of decent quality, but don't require high SATs or GPA, include:
- Dean College (MA)
- Curry College (MA)
- Southern New Hampshire University
- Wheelock College (MA)
- Endicott College (MA)
- Lasell College (MA)
- Columbia College Chicago
- Mount Mary College (WI)
- Dominican College (NY)
- Mercy College (NY)
- Dowling College (NY)
- Nyack College (NY)
And quite a few more. If you want a four year college, some of these may be worth checking into.
