what do americans think of the british military?

hi, i was just wandering what americans think of the british military, because u see brits an americans arguing about who has beter trained, more profesional, and overall better an tougher troops, but what do americans really think. im british and i think our troops are bloody good, an extremely tough, i mean look at the RM, the longest training in all the armys of NATO (sorry starting to be paitriotic lol), but then again im not denying that america arguably has the greatest military force on the planet. so what do you americans think of us, im just curios?
 
I like the Brits, good guys that do a damn good job. Hell, I like any soldier from any country that is willing to chew sand with me.
 
I never dealt with UK troops, so I would not know.

The average American does not think about this.

Some American servicemen sometimes wonder what it be like to be in or have a chance to compare.
 
If the American in question knows his onions,he,ll respect the British Army.
but to many Americans nowadays dont know shit.
they just want to blast everything in sight.
 
the Brits and the US military are both highly trained and very well equipped, so neither one is "better" than the other sorry to say. even on the field of battle with a clear winner and loser the next day it could have a entirely different outcome, like it or not in battle luck of the draw has just as much to do with the outcome as training and equipment.
