im a girl and im 5 foot and a half and 15 years old turning 16 next month and i wanna either get a kx85 or a kx100 but i dont know which one would be better for me...i like power and everything i look at them but i dont know excatly yet

i need to know ur riding experience. if ur looking at a 85 im assuming its not very much. i would suggest if u have less then a year of experience on a bike then get a CRF230f fun bike and a good time for a beginner.
if you have experience i would say kx85 just because the kx100 are not made for racing and they really arnt that great. you are a little tall for a 85 so consider a 125 2 stroke/250 4 stroke if u have the experience.

the only reason i suggest the 230 over the 85 is because the 85 is a race bike and not much fun to learn on and if u dont plan to race it u will be fouling plugs constantly and not having much fun because breaking the power band on a trail usually ends face first in a tree.

The only difference between the bikes is the size and the 110 has some more power but there the same engine too.

If i were you i would go to the dealer sit on the 110 and make sure you feel comfortable with the extra inch n bigger back tire if you do take it!!

Go big or go home!!!!!

Easy choice!

Kx 100 most definately should be your choice.

the kx 100 would be great for 5 and a half feet, hell I'm 5"11 and I can still have a blast on one of those little suckers even though i could basically break the bike haha along with the 85.

Kx 100 has a bigger wheel base, and just overall is bigger, not tons bigger like a 125, just a bit.

I have always wanted a 100 myself just to mess around on, when i'm not doing that serious of riding.

Kx 100 has more power than the 85 so keep that in mind too. If you love power then go for the 100 or even buy a 125?

I don't know if you are a beginner or not, or what bike you are coming off of.

If you are looking to race, I don't know what the kx 100 classifies in.

one more thing, if you are riding a kx 100 in the trails, It will have more bottem end then the 85, so it will not stall out as much.

Good luck!
