What did you think when John McCain used air quotes and sneered about health...

In the final debate before the November 4 vote, Senator Obama said, “Surely there is some common ground” where abortion rights opponents and supporters can come together and say, ‘We should try to prevent unintended pregnancies by providing appropriate education to our youth, communicating that sexuality is sacred and that [youth] should not be engaged in cavalier activity, and providing options for adoption, and helping single mothers if they want to choose to keep the baby.”

Senator McCain sneered and said with air quote gestures, “Again . . . just again, an example of the eloquence of Senator Obama, health (indicates air quotes) of the mother. You know that’s been stretched by the pro-abortion movement to mean almost anything.”
 
Health of the mother is code word for abortion on demand up to and including full gestation. Which is exactly what Obama is for. If you call aborting a viable 9 month old fetus at the wish of the mother OK, because she claims it will affect her mental or emotional health, fine. Just call it what it is.
 
I'm pro-abortion, but the economy is more important, and I don't agree with Obama's tax increases on small businesses which is what so many middle-class Americans rely on to expand their success. Obama wants to 'spread the wealth'....So McCain ends up with my vote.
 
McCain answered Obama and called him out.

Abortions in the name of "health" leave quite a bit of leeway, which is the hipocracy Obama hides behind.
 
It came off as highly insensitive ... people are sympathetic to his war injuries ... how dare he "air quote" ... an unfortunate circumstance of an ailing woman with child ...
 
Oh that made me sooooo mad!!! I wanted to say what about the health of all the women back in the day who got abortions from "Doctors" and died from hemorrhaging....he's pathetic!
