Wondering what people have paid for there new 2010 Ultra classic and what type of discounts are available. I am looking to buy but would like some assistance as to what a dealer will do off the MSRP. Thanks..

I was shopping back in December for an Ultra. These bikes sell very well even in today's hosed up economy. In Kansas City and the surrounding area the best price I could find was MSRP. I ended up buying an Electra Glide Classic instead of the Ultra and got a very good deal on that bike. I didn't want or need all the bells and whistles on the Ultra anyway so the EGC was the best bang for the buck for me. It was a brand new black 2010 with cruise and ABS installed from the factory and I bought it for $19,500. The MSRP on an EGC is $19k base without ABS and cruise. So I basically got ABS and cruise for $500. Not sure you will find an Ultra under MSRP because they sell so well but good luck and if you don't want all the stuff an Ultra has the EGC is a very good option in my opinion.

I'm dealing on 2010 Ultra Limited, checked in with four different dealers in my area(Northern WI) All dealers are holding to MSRP to the penny - what"s up with that?.

The Limited's are exactly that, Limited, and are hard to get and are usually sold in just a few days of hitting the showroom. I doubt you will buy a Limited under MSRP

I bought a 2010 ultra limited with adjustable drives backrest about 200 in other perks t shirts, battery tender , air pump. I had to buy the pad for my backrest and install it myself. 26k . Tax and title included . No other mc dealer around here would match them. Even our largest dealer was 700 more.

I paid $23,500.00 for my new Ultra back in December. I has ABS brakes and the security system. It also came with a stage one air cleaner and SE pipes. The dealer also waved the setup cost. All in all I feel like I got a good deal on a very nice bike.

i just ordered a new 2010 ultra classic firefighter edition. $18500 with security, no abs. out the door for $20,700 with taxes and fees. hope this helps. The best deal i could find on the limited was $24,500 out the door.

As far as dealers all wanting MSRP, as it was explained to me, it's not like buying a car where you can shop around at all of your local Chevy dealers and get a different price. You pay MSRP and then bargain on whatever they will throw in for you. I was told that's how Harley Corporate wants it. That way it's a fair playing field for the dealerships. If you find a dealership that is selling them for less than MSRP and another dealership hears about it they'll complain to Harley about it. Or at least that's what my dealer told me is how it's supposed to work ? When I bought my 09 Ultra I got NOTHING ! However when I bought my 09 Dyna Fat Bob, I got the first 1K service thrown in, got the Riders Edge class for free, had it stored for the winter for free and got a $100 clothes certificate. On both bikes, they waived the setup fee also. I'm referring to the current model year with the MSRP. If a dealer has a previous model year and the bike is brand new you can get it for less than MSRP. Anyway, that's how it was explained to me.

I paid $22,400 With ABS and Security out the door. I sent out E-Mails to 10 different dealers and told them what I wanted and that I would buy a bike from the dealer offering the lowest price. I even sent a list of all the other dealers along. I think I got a good deal, most of my friends couldn't believe I got this good of a deal from the dealer I bought from (they are not known to deal ). But I did all this in the middle of February, I think they were a little hungry. Good Luck!
