What DID You Get This Month (12/2008)

I don't really get why this is even being debated, since it is already happening. Funimation has been putting out 13 episode boxed sets of tons of shows lately (Ouran Host Club, One Piece, Planet of the Beast King etc).
 
There are still plenty of singles being released by other companies that are "not" FUNimation.

And we weren't really debating it. I was just pointing out why having these box sets gradually replace the anime single DVD's would be a good idea, in the first place.

I mostly spent my anime dollars as Playstation Store Fun Bucks, using them to rent the latest episodes of Xam'd: Lost Memories (my show of the year, BTW). I downloaded the latest episode (Episode 19) late last night and picked up some free Xam'd-related content. The content included a free PS3 theme, a video showing the Japanese announcement of Xam'd, and another vid featuring interviews with the voice cast.
 
After a long battle with the interwebz, I finally gave in and just bought Ouran High School Host Club part 1 from Best Buy.

I ordered this thing back in mid-Noveraber, never got it. Apparently it got lost in the mail so I got a refund... so instead of risking losing it in the mail from somewhere else, I just bought it. Paid a little more, but I have it now.

Now if Rightstuf would send my Code Geass part 2 that I pre-ordered... if this takes months to get like the first set, I might scream *facepalm*

Two days later edit: Code Geass part 2 shipped today.

And I wasnt planning on buying anything till january...
