What Did You Get This Month (1/2009)

It was an anime buying month fo sho.

- Buso Renkin Boxset 2
- Dragonball Z Season Six Set
- Hunter x Hunter Boxset 1
- One Piece: Season One - Third Voyage
- Gurren Lagann Set 2

The last 3 I just picked up at Fye after finding Best Buy wasn't carrying any of them in-store.

-Gurren Lagann Part 1
-Gurren Lagann Part 2
-One Piece Part 2
-One Piece Part 3 (Coming this week)

And I still got craploaRAB of Gundam Wing and DBZ to watch.

Today at Best Buy, I decided to pick up Dragon Ball Z Movies 3 & 4: Tree of Might/Lord Slug. Since I didn't see it on their website and I saw that they had 3 copies left, I didn't want to miss my chance in picking it up.

For those people in the R1 anime world who are just starting to collect DB my heart goes out to them for the money they're going to put into completing dragonball.

*and in response to the topic, today the mail delivered:
Tsubasa Vol 10
One Piece S1 Voyage 3
Dragonball GT Season 1 "Remastered"

And goes out to Right Stuf for sitting on my order of Dragonball Z season 8, Dragonball GT Season 2, Claymore Volume 3, and the Str.A.In collection all of which are ready to be shipped but have been sitting in the warehouse for the past 2 days.

Wouldnt it be cheaper and more efficient to just buy a region-free dvd player and import the dvRAB?

Or at least just wait until funimation re-releases it, I mean, the whole series on dvd is 500+ $, which is unfortunatly not worth it.

Yesterday, I went to Barnes and Noble for the first time in a while, and bought some manga that peeked my interest. They're not at the "DO WANT" level that will force me to buy the latest Claymore volume the first week it comes out, but I followed them nonetheless.

Rosario+Vampire Vol.2
Rosario+Vampire Vol.3
Rosario+Vampire Vol.4
Black Lagoon (manga) Vol.3

And, I still continue to watch Xam'd off of the Playstation Store and rented Episode 25 (the most recent and next-to-last episode) late last night.

you'd be surprised how many people don't know about Region Coding.

I was lucky enough to have bought a dvd player that was able to convert to region free. I didn't even know I had one that could do that until I decided randomly to check online and I was able to find the corabination in order to convert it.

Well if someone had a player that could play Region 4 and they bought the 2 collections released by Madman that contains the whole series, they would only be spending about $150 but unfortunately it looks like those sets are out of stock at the site I'm looking at.
