Ok I went to get a 2nd opinion for a multi function signal switch. After them inspecting my whole car they found out that's what I indeed needed ( which I already knew). They ordered the part which will be delivered to there shop in the morning. After leaving the repair shop I noticed none of my windows work. I have electric windows in my Buick. I immediately went back to the shop and the guy from the front desk hit the lower part of the door inside the car a few times. After more hitting and pressing the window buttons up and down it started to work again. Then 30 min after driving the car I noticed the low tire light came on, and then the check engine light came on. My check engine light was on the end of last year b/c I need a new transmission something, but the light hasn't come on after the light was turned off WTF! What did this mechanic do to my car? I already got an oil change and a tire rotation which my tires were also inspected 2 weeks ago. My tires were messed with today!

What did this man do to my car?

tire light comes on for low tire pressure and is probably unrelated.... change in air temp by 5 degrees can cas this to come on ... look in ur driver door for correct air pressure and make sure that's wats in ur tires.... air gauge only a dollar in most places.....as far as guy hitting the door to make windows works sounds like bad connection........which means they may have knocked something loose wile working on ur steering column ......take it back and make them fix it.......as for ur check engine light again tehy may have knocked sumthing loose.... tehy shdu b able to scan code and fix the problem.............good luck

window sounds like a window motor or switch, a tire low light just mean u tire needs a air that all but since air in tire compress when cold temp and expands when hot temp that light can drive a person crazy

They probably checked the air pressure in the tires and accidentally let a little air out, just top 'em off again.

As for none of the windows working, it sounds like a bad connection in the switch. It would be possible for an unscrupulous mechanic to pull the window switches out and just barely pull the socket out that the switch goes into so it wouldn't make a good connection. Then, he could charge you for a new switch but actually just plug your switch back in.

Same goes for the check engine light, pulling one of about 20 wires under the hood would do it. Sounds like these guys might be real dirtbags-or just victims of circumstance. Take the car back and ask them to take a look at the new problems, let them know you think it should be free for them to look at it. If they don't fix it for nothing, take it to another shop and have them take a look at it. If you found out they've messed with it, report them to the BBB.
