What did Jesus think of sports?

Jesus is acclaimed after touchdowns, home runs, and other accomplishments in sports and athletics. Athletes pray in huddled groups and in various fellowships. Is God interested in these
contests? Does He determine the victor? For what do (or should) athletes pray?
Does Jesus enjoy sports?
Does God favor the team with the most Christians or the individual who calls most passionately on the Lord for special strength, skill, or success. If it serves His purposes of either judgment or of bringing one to the faith or leads to more fervent belief, does God decide to take a hand.
 
He's been kickin' 2000 years
He's fixed a lot of sports
and drank a million beers
Some ecstasy, a thin white line
He says designer drugs beat the hell out of wine
 
Sports is boring as hell I have no idea how people can just sit in front of a TV watching a game for 3 hours all the way through. I can only watch a game if I am haning out with my friends or something
 
Judging from the things that Jesus said I seriously doubt if he would be interested in any contest where someone had to loose so someone else could win.

He was a win win sort of guy.
