...next big thing? Remember a while back when Miley Cyrus was hell bent on ending her career with those not so disney photos?
All the blogs/papers/mags kept repeating that Diseny execs were already grooming Selena Gomez as the 'next big thing'.. remember?

What I want to know is exactly what this 'grooming' process was... The word grooming sounds so sinister ahah.
 
I think they basically mean that they're just trying to make her really popular. They just try to make her really appealing to kids and young teens, but it's not really a bad thing. Disney probably wants Selena Gomez to become more famous than Miley, so that people will eventually just forget about Miley.
