What did Elizabeth Bishop mean by saying "I shan't have lied" in her poem "One Art" ?

I really love the poem and find it very inspirational .. but there's this part I don't get :S .. I mean ,, to whom did she lie and about what :S ? -- I really need answers :D .. thnx
