Say you want to have one set of speakers (or surround sound set of 5) to produce sound from the computer, MIDI keyboard, and stereo system (receiver, tape player, cd player, etc) what do you call the device that will integrate these sound sources into one set of speakers?

Also, is there a MIDI device that can perform this function as well as have an integrated audio card for MIDI? The MIDI keyboard will connect to a software Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).

Why can't you just take the sound wires out from the computer and into the stereo? They might be plugged into Axillary input. Then the stereo amplifies it and sends it to the speakers.

You should go to Radio Shack or a stereo store and ask them. They usually know how to do these things.
