What defines cheating on a girlfriend/boyfriend in College?

I know of a couple that goes to my college, they have a pretty solid relationship, but last weekend the guy was at a Frat party, and made out with a girl he met there. He initiated the conversation to introduce himself, but the girl was the one who made the first move (he told her that he had a girlfriend). Both of them were drunk - does this count as cheating???

Making out is definitely cheating even if they were drunk. If my man was even thinking about another girl in a romantic or lustful way, I would consider that cheating. You deserve better than to be with some guy who makes out with other women. He's being far from faithful to you.

Booze makes people do some really stupid things but I personally dont buy it as a get out of jail free card, If he was sober enough to tell her he had a girlfriend once, he could of put the brakes on if he had wanted to. He was a willing player so yes - He is a cheat.

Duh. It doesn't matter if he was drunk, he went with it and didn't remove himself from the situation or refused to go to the party because his girlfriend wasn't there.

Being drunk is not an excuse for cheating behavior. Having been drunk on many occasions, I can readily say that making out with some tool that has come over can be incredibly appealing BUT you are still able to reason and think. I've never not thought about my boyfriend when put into a situation like that.
