what culture/custom should i do my report on?

for world history i have to do a report on a different countries custom or culture like in the amazon they bury kids alive. we have to do one on something besides amazon. what are some to look into?
 
do western culture since its the best in the world. remember white people invented democracy.
 
When I was in mortuary school, we had to do an indepth study of three non christian groups......their culture, their beliefs and their funeral rites. One of the ones I did was Sikh! I was fortunate enough to make connections with the head of the Canadian Federation of Sikhs and I got a wealth of information from him. What an education it was for me! He was so incredibly helpful and I learned so much. They are a fascinating culture and I know you'd enjoy researching them!
