Just an update:
On Friday morning I went to the doctors and they told me that a gland in my face appeared to be infected very badly and they put me on augmenton (or something like that). The doctor told me to return the following morning, in which I did.
The swelling or pain hadn't gotten any better after 3 doses so the doctor sent me to the Emergency room. I was on IV antibiotics for 2 days and was discharged yesterday. Taking antibiotics for about 8 more days. But the swelling disappeared almost completely at the hospital and I feel much better.
