I've gone to a chat room for years that basically is an old html chat with a refresh every 5 seconds or so, to keep things update. It has worked fine for years. It suddenly quit responding. I've checked my pop-up blocker, because the site uses divided frames for windows in the window itself. But that has never caused a problem in itself.

It's not a java chat at all, so that can't be the problem. I've checked my firewalls - I did have Comodo, I've since switched to ZoneAlarm...and nothing seems to be wrong. All other websites work just fine, but that one website doesn't want to load. It has been doing that for like a month or so now. I've done all of my windows updates (as I have in times past when I could enter the chat with no problems). My computer runs great otherwise. What could be wrong? I've even added the site to my "trusted sites" under the security tab in internet explorer 7.0.Still doesn't work. It opens...but yet doesn't load the other half of it, like display pictures/icons of users or the chat text.

Sometimes I've gone into it and typed a message...and 10 minutes later after letting it just sit there trying, it would post the message very late and freeze up again...only to post again in another 5 or 10 minutes after I've hit enter to post something in the room.

Suggestions?
Note: I didn't mean to write "firewalls" - I have one firewall, which is ZoneAlarm now.
Running Vista Home Premium, if that makes any difference. A very new gaming computer.
