what could it be 1992 honda accord?

Check your fluid level and if thats not it. It is your TRANSMISSION I didn say trans lol
 
no matter what gear you put it in it says its in d4 and the Tran seams to be slipping in d3 and d4 what could it be pleas say something other then then the trans
 
You either have LOW tranny fluid (good news) or your tranny is bad (bad news).

The tranny is WHOLE unit and always rebuilt as ONE UNIT. That is why people just say TRANNY problem.

You might have a transmission operating computer with a bad connection. Also, check the trans fluid, make sure you are using GENUINE HONDA approved fluid. THe container should read, "approved for use in Honda". GOOD LUCK!!
