What could have been for animation

Now there are certain times when an animated series or an animated film goes into production but however there are a few certain things that can happen to the project. Now most of these projects dont often occur but however sometimes they occur but they dont go well according to plan. Now this is the discussion on short films, animated series, and films that had stuff planned while in production but however they dont go off the ground. So what do you know that was planned for either as an animated series or as a film but however it doesnt come off the ground? I know only two.

Hare in my soup(yes this is the title if your wondering, and its a pun} Hare in my soup was the planned 4th Roger Rabbit short, which was news for me. The only reason why this didnt get off the ground was because Steven Spielberg didnt like the story of it.

Brad Bird's the Spirit- While Frank Miller was doing the spirit an article came around about director Brad bird{of incredibles and iron giant fame} was trying to make an animated film based on the comic. Now there isnt enough film noirish animation to offer, but I had a feeling that Brad was trying to pull this off at WB animation. But however seeing Frank Miller's take on the comic wasnt enjoyable as much I have enjoyed the comics. I would say that Brad Bird would have done justice to the spirit. And it would have been like the animated series of batman in my own view.

Sonic SatAM: The producers had planned to make Tails a bigger player than what he was, actually stepping up and training to be Sonic's partner in season 2, then in the never made season 3, being a full blown freedom fighter. But network meddling insisted Antoine get more screentime, which resulted in Tails getting the shaft in the development department.

Danny Phantom- They originally planned for Sam and Danny to have some sort of psychic connection, but they scrapped it. Also they had plans for Technus 3.0 (there were even character concepts) but that never happened probably due to the 3rd Season getting shortened to 13 episodes. Also before Steve Marmel left the team before Season 3 he planned to have the series end with Dark Danny in the series finale but that din't happen when he left.
