What could be wrong with my '95 dodge avenger?

We just put a new engine (2.5L V6 SFI SOHC 24V) into it and it barely starts and when it does start for me it will hesitate when accelerated any...it sounds like some fine tuning to the engine but not sure, any advice would help thanx!!!!
Well from what they told me about the car it has a bran new computer in it they changed everything when they put the new engine in it, not shure if its the exact enigine that came stock tho
 
The first question would be, Is it the same size engine that came out of it? If it is then you might want to look at the computer. Sometimes when you change an engine the computer must be either reset or replace due to the fact that they adjust to the older engine that was in there to help it perform better. Ask a local auto shop how to reset your PCM, or ECU. They can usually tell you how free of charge. Good luck and let us know if that works for you.
