and 70mph, no other symptoms.? I have a Toyota Camry LE 4cyl 2000 -- 44k miles. I noticed that my car starts to hum at 45mph, but if I go under 45mph or over 45mph, it stops.... it also does it at 70mph when I'm on the interstate, but quits if I go below 70 or more than 70. (Its really loud at 70, than it is 45.) -- It sounds like the sound is coming from the back... I'm thinking its the muffler, but someone said it could be the wheel bearings but I have no issues with steering or alignment, and the sound is not constant. I also have new tires with good tread, and made sure that they were on tight. I also tolerated the sound driving a 1,000 mile trip from Florida to Ohio with no issues. Just thought I would get an opinion before I shell out some money at the shop...
