For the past few weeks, I've been experiencing horrible intermittent pain in my left arm. The closest doctor that accepts my insurance is 45 minutes away, so I've been trying to avoid going.
It's mostly concentrated in my forearm, but will shoot from my fingertips to my shoulder. It feels like stabbing pain. It comes and goes. One week I'll be fine, then I'll have one day where it hurts super bad and I'll take a Naproxen and it feels better. I'm able to move it without pain. I have no idea what could be causing this.

It could be a pinched nerve in your shoulder. I have a similar problem and it acts up whenever I strain my shoulder. It usually just passes for me and ibprohen usually works (for me anyway). It would be something to ask your regular doctor about. My doctor take phone calls and doesn't charge for it. Maybe you could try that. Good luck and I hope it gets to feeling better soon!!

Ouch, probably poor blood circulation there which can lead to a stroke or heart attack
Just see a doctor and explain your symptoms so that he can diagnose your pain

Pain in the left arm or left arm area can be a sign of a heart attack or heart problems and if you don't want to go to the doctor I would suggest taking a aspirin it will probably take the pain away and keep down the risk but if it still hurts then you need to go to the doctor.
