I have a 2001 Mazda Tribute with 140,000 miles. It has a manual 5-speed transmission. About a month ago it started having choppy acceleration in the mornings. The problem seems to go away after the engine is sufficiently warmed up. I had the timing belt replaced a year ago and the fuel filter replaced a week ago. What else could be causing this?
