What Concerts Are You Going To In The Next Few Months

lol, actually pontiac caters to the "ganstas" and right outside pontiac, in waterford where I live, is for like "rockers" who like to go to shows then have nice little afterparties. This is a great party area. I love it.

I'm seeing Indigo Girls this weekend play at basically a classroom at Yale here in New Haven. Hope they don't play any of the ****ty music that makes up most of their discography and stick to Strange Fire and that cover of Romeo and Juliet and that song Closer To Fine, which is pretty good. High expectations I guess.

D.O.A. tomorrow night!

I actually considered going to that but in the end, I dont think I'd have the money for gas to get there and I'm going to Dirt Fest in 5 days later and that is also quite a drive. It was one or the other.

I am going to Dirt Fest is a few weeks, Dragonforce in Septeraber, Aerosmith/Motley Crue in October and Blind Guardian/Leaves Eyes in Noveraber.

I just saw the Black Eyed Peas, (and Ludacris and LMFAO opened). Up Front, Main floor, general admission was brutal, but priceless. I love BEP's music. But too much bass live. Will.i.am, Apl de Ap, Fergie, and Taboo something to see. Seem like they're having fun. I wanted to go in their spaceship in a glitter suit.

Yeah, they were decent. I'm glad I ended up going.

I think I'm going to go see Girls & Real Estate at Black Cat on Tuesday. Girls are decent, not a favorite but they're alright. I'm more interested in Real Estate. I recently became frienRAB with the owner of Underwater Peoples, who works at the Red Onion, and he got me a copy of their sold out 7", which was lucky because it's really good.

I used to have a ton of respect for the Rev for the intricate drumming parts on Waking The Fallen, but when I saw them live, he plays about half of what's on the album. Come to find out they used a sit in double-bass drummer on the album. They also re-arranged all the vocal arrangements from the old songs. M. Shadows does not scream AT ALL, all the old vocals that were recorded as screaming parts, he sings (poorly). I was just a bit let down by those two, the guitar solos were all played verbatim, which I did find impressive. But overall, if you're expecting to hear the songs as they appear on the older albums, you will be disappointed.

Maryland Fucking Deathfest at the end of the month, can't wait. Going to be tanked all weekend in a hotel room full of Internet buddies.

Highlights:
* Pentagram
* Eyehategod
* Possessed
* Obituary
* Gorguts
* Autopsy
* Sodom
* Entorabed
* Watain

It's going to be sick.

Yeah, so I saw WHY? last night and despite a 25 minute soundcheck in the middle of the show and a very short set.. and almost breaking down on the way there, I had a great time. Said what's up to Yoni and after that I died.
