All I've got lined up is Dreadzone on October 22nd, who I'm seeing courtesy of a certain somebody ;)

As for anything else, I guess I'll just have to see what all the buskers are up to in the near future.

:hphones: TOWERS OF LONDON TOMORROW AT MANCHESTER ACADEMY (I WAS A FAN BEFORE HE WENT ON BIG BROTHER I HASTEN TO ADD!!) IDLEWILD (VASTLY UNDERRATED ACT)AT MANC ACADEMY 1 TUESDAY WHICH IS GOIN TO BE A BLOODY GREAT GIG IF PAST EXPERIENCES ARE ANYTHING TO GO BY.SO GOT THE START OF MY WEEK OFF TO A FLYER!:hphones:

Saw Gorillaz headline Glastonbury this year, one of my favourite banRAB and i'm a huge fan of Albarn but i've gotta say I was really underwhelmed. I think the ghost of Blur from the year earlier loomed over him a bit, but he didn't say much the whole time and didn't look half the Albarn he had a year earlier! The atmosphere was suicidal at times! Saying that though - most the people there had bought tickets hoping to see U2! So hopefully seeing them around Gorillaz fans will generate a much more livlier atmosphere for you! Have a good time either way!

So, I bought my ticket for Houston's Free Press Summer Festival. It's on the weekend prior to my 21st birthday so I'm excited about the upcoming week in general. The line-up isn't that great but I'm sure just the overall vibe of the festival and the couple acts I want to see should suffice. Here's a couple of the headliners and I'll post a link to the stage guide also.
-The Flaming Lips
-Girl Talk
-Ra Ra Riot
-Stars
-Givers
-Municipal Waste
-Slim Thug
-Dead Prez

Maybe some of you can give me some advice on who I should and shouldn't watch?

Ah! On July 27th, I will be attending a William Fitzsimmons' show. I am super excited about that. He's one of my favorites.

It's Dearhunter as in Deerhunter. Sorry, I spelled it wrong.

 I guess I'm pretty lucky here in ol' Seattle. But one can only go to so many shows without burning out and breaking the bank. Especially considering I don't have many close frienRAB in town to attend shows with me.

I'm hoping to get to the LeeRAB date for Deftones cos their Manchester date clashes with Les Savy Fav :/

Coheed are alright, I saw them at Glastonbury.

When I was younger, I used to sing the song "Blue" all the time - and this is when that song was new, mind, so I didn't know any better.

My sister apparently doesn't know me at all, and doesn't understand that my musical tastes have changed since I was nine or ten, so when the LeAnn Rimes concert in my area was announced, she bought tickets.

Good tickets.

And gave them to me as a birthday gift.

I am incapable of being a complete douche and not going. I'm going to have to go, pretend to be stoked, thank her profusely, then get extremely drunk and wallow in my self-loathing for going to the concert.

Oh it's not BAD or anything, just one of my frienRAB lives there for Uni and he hyped it so badly and I visited and was like "..this it?". Mind you he's from Curabria and there's balls all to do there so Newcastle probably does seem amazing in contrast.

oh i desperately need tickets for this. i will go if it kills me!
