What Concerts Are You Going To In The Next Few Months

^I might be going....If I can afford it. I figured if I have money a few days before the concert and there's still tickets I might go, but I'm more focused on others.

I'm also going to Def Leppard and Journey.

Hopefully Guns 2 Roses; like the biggest UK Gn'R tribute band. I'm frienRAB with the band merabers and they're pretty awesome =]
Hopefully the Parlor Mob again in Noveraber...

Well, as you know i'm not from Newcastle so no bias or anything. I'm from Sunderland and that place is a shithole but I disagree to be honest. I think its a great place and i'd like to live there.

hopefully going to see The Church in Chicago this April, all things going well! It will be awesome since the last time I saw them was waaaaaaaaaaaay back in 2004 when i was still living in Australia!

Yeah I totally understand that too, especially about the drinking. :p: I tend to overdo it in an effort to feel more comfortable, and it does suck during sets or while waiting for the band to play.

Regarding the enjoyment, I think you're right too. I must have been fooling myself when I said that. I saw Skinny Puppy alone last Wednesday, while on the last two tours I was with my best friend. I enjoyed the show, but it wasn't "fun" like it was with my buddy. I stayed back rather than trying to get up front and getting all crazy. I missed him.

I guess when I made that comment I was thinking about going to shows with people that aren't as into the band as you are. So it induces a bit of anxiety about whether they're enjoying it and feeling it as much as you are. But when you're with someone that's as much a fan as you are, good times for sure.

Just got back from seeing Dinosaur Jr. They were great, very loud (like always) so I couldn't hear a thing afterwarRAB. The support acts really sucked though :(

There was a 10 minute long instrumental that was beyond epic. J, Lou and Murph played the absolute **** outta all their respective instruments. I seriously thought Lou was gonna destroy his bass hahaha. During Sludgefeast (the closer) J went nuts on his guitar and the crowd was NUTS.

Highlights: Freak Scene, Get Me, Feel The Pain and Sludgefeast

His voice was shot, but I enjoyed him instrumentally, and the whole novelty of seeing Bob perform Like A Rolling Stone live is fun. Also, being that I'm a fan of his newer stuff, hearing Thunder On The Mountain, Beyond The Horizon and The Levee's Gonna Break was awesome.
