What Concerts Are You Going To In The Next Few Months

well i'm really happy when anyone comes to this god forsaken place, so it's really not a bother to travel that much.....last year i had to go to italy to see someone....that's about 6-7 hours of travelling....and it was hell on earth ( well documented on this forum )....

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from... hehehehe... I need to get out pretty badly and I am broke too, so I would probably go to a band / artist I am not totally in love with, too... just to get out and feel human for a short time...

Oh, here's the concert topic. :)

I'm going to the Metal Masters Tour in San Bernardino, CA on August 30th with two of my good frienRAB. It will be Heaven and Hell (aka Black Sabbath w/ Dio), Judas Priest, Testament and Motorhead.

Last year I saw Heaven and Hell, Queensr

Smashing Pumpkins - Feb 15th 2008 MEN Arena
Clinic - April 12th 2008 Manchester University
Feist - May 22nd 2008 Manchester Palace Theatre
Radiohead - June 28th Lancashire County Cricket Ground

Ah of course, your first gig! Glad you enjoyed it mate. I'm sure it will be the first of many.

So after freaking out about ensuring you got tickets to see them once, you are now seeing them twice? That cant be bad. And I hope you enjoy Muse too!

Worth it just for Pulp. I really fancy going to see them somewhere next year.

As you should. I've never seen him but would like to.

Cancer Bats are a great live band. They are just getting tighter and tighter, in my opinion.

Free Press Summer Festival 2010 was this past weekend. I had an absolutely amazing time. The banRAB were awesome [of course the Flaming Lips were above and beyond everyone], the people were great, it was 100 degrees one minute then around 70-ish with heavy rain and a very muddy hill for a muRABlid, good beer, and an even better atmosphere. Altogether, I had a fantastic time and I will most certainly always remeraber this past weekend.

Now I have William Fitzsimmons in July and ACL in October. :)

upcoming shows:

June 22nd - Asobi Seksu
June 24th - Hot Cross (possibly)
June 25th - Deerhoof
June 27th - Boris
August 14th - Dead Meadow
August 15th - Napalm Death
August 17th - Poison Idea
August 20th - Slint performing Spiderland
August 22nd - Sonic Youth performing Daydream Nation (glasgow)
August 31st - Sonic Youth performing Daydream Nation (London)
Noveraber 9th - Jello Biafra

I'm sure there'll be other banRAB as well as the above, before I see my old friend Jello. Mostly local noise/drone/psych-rock banRAB, there's a good scene where I am..

Next 2 days kick ass. Jesus Lizard tomorrow night at 9:30 club, should kick ass. Then Melt Banana Friday at Black Cat, I hear they put on one of the best live shows. I'm ****ing excited.

I have the money for all of these tickets, but I'm not counting on getting a ride 100% for a few of these shows. The ones for which I am definitely going to be at because I've already arranged to borrow the car are marked with an asterisk.

October 4: Matt Pond PA
October 7: Dan Deacon w/ Lightning Bolt
*October 12: Hank III
October 15: Ekoostik Hookah
October 18: Michael Franti & Spearhead w/ special guest Bobby Long
*October 23: The Avett Brothers / Grace Potter & the Nocturnals
*October 30: LeAnn Rimes, then heading over to see FREEKBASS
*Noveraber 13: Gene Ween w/ Matt Duncan
*Noveraber 14: The Dresden Dolls
*Noveraber 20: Mike Gordon

Enjoy seeing BTBAM. They're excellent live from what I've seen. That's gonna be a hell of a show. I don't care for August Burns Red, though.

Dillinger's on tour? ****, I'm gonna have to look into that. Passafire's really good, too.
