What Concerts Are You Going To In The Next Few Months

I just went to the TOOL concert last friday-they put on a good show, but I along with the rest of the crowd was very dissapointed. They didn't even play The Pot.

I plan on going to Deftones and 311 next month.

shockingly, i'm going to see HIM
since it's in another city and it'll be the last trip with my sister before she leaves for college in the states. and she used to be a fan, so.. we'll see what happens

i'm leaving tomorrow evening

Yeah man I've heard lots of great things about The Sage. My friend who lives there for uni went to see Eels and Grizzly Bear there and said the venue is just spectacular.

I'm unsure whether to go yet, Manchester Academy is an absolute borab of a venue and I just don't feel the need to see them again cos the first time was so good.

That sucks mate as i am off to Hawkwind in Newcastle and i cant fucking wait because a) i have never seen them before and have heard good things about their live performances, even now (well, and their live recorRAB are amazing) and b) they are playing with the Crazy World of Arthur Brown.

Do you have any listening recommendations for Jaga Jazzist? I've been meaning to check them out for a couple of years now. :o:

I'm jealous - they toured Australia and skipped NZ this time around. :(

Hooooly shitballs, I've just seen the upcoming Big Day Out lineup and it's insane! It's 5 am, and I can't sleep because I'm so excited.

Ryan Adams - Sept 21

going by myself, all the ladies will probably think I'm gay anyway

A middle aged white male @ a Ryan Adams show by himself??
What would you think?

208! I love that they covered Audioslave, ACDC, The Animals, and Hendrix. I love that they spent 99% of their nearly 2-hour-long set jamming, instead of blabbering on about their days and trying to interact with the crowd. I loved the drum/bass solo on the rotating platform. I loved Matt's outfit.

However, I didn't care for the fact that played ALL of the Resistance (aside from I Belong To You) and NONE of Showbiz. I also thought that Passion Pit, even though they're a new band with only one album, really showed zero enthusiasm for the event. The only thing they did was let their singer sturable around the stage as if he was drunk.

Muse, though, :thurab::tramp::band:

Got my free passes for Warped Tour today, went downtown to buy comic books and gave them to a random scene kid. I'm buyin' my way into heaven every day

Im going to something called Inside Out for the Arches birthday party, Showtek and the Tidy Boys, and I think Yoji Biomehanika is playing also, but maybe I'm just getting over excited cos the website says only Yoji. But Im praying Yoji Biomehanika's playing :D:D

Edit: It is Yoji Biomehanika that's playing apparantly he's changed his name to just Yoji now. That sucks.

Awesome. The tour is called "Pinback Presents: The Rob and Zack Show" and they are supposedly doing things a little differently, playing their songs in a different way or something:

Anyway I've always backed out of going to their shows, usually because it was a weeknight or something (this one is too...but no more excuses) and I'm not that big of a concert goer anyway. But I've missed probably 3-4 here in Seattle. I plan to see them the next time too, hopefully with a full band.
