its a cb650 and I am putting it into an amen frame. i want the most basic wiring possible rather than replacing certain components I know are bad

Well we need to know what model Honda and if you are building this frame for a chopper or are buying one and if so which one.

As for the idea, the Honda needs a charging system which most of those components on the stock bike are up under the seat. Other than that the engine should be able to be adapted into a chopper frame. They use to do it with the old inline 4's the CB 550,650 and 750 were all used as chopper motors.

not a hard job at all, I build choppers out of all kinds of bikes. E mail me at [email protected]. Also go to this site: GANG OF THE FOUR.Its a website dedicated to chopping the Honda C.B. 750. I know your using a 650 but its the SAME principles. You keep the headlight, tail light, electric start, the charging system. The amen saviour frame is way cool by the way! You discard the turn signals, the kickstand shut off,[ the bike will run in gear with the stand down] the oil light doesnt need to be there any more. The only electrics you keep are whats absolutely needed to start the sled and get down the road! You even eliminate all the fuses except for the main fuse. You can still find cool old honda chopper stuff in boneyards like the chrome box that holds all the electrics!
