What color wall paint would look best with light color laminate flooring?

I was thinking about painting the walls crisp ginger ale by Glidden or something similar. I only want to paint the livingroom/family room. The laminate floors are a southern hickory or hickory natural color (very light brown). My livingroom furniture is brown with black accents-brown couch, black pic frames, black tv stand. Any suggestions would be helpful.
 
split the walls via a thin dado or slightly darker frieze, (the frieze will have to be your choice of preference) with a cream top over a butter milk lower half, or lemon walls with a white / small cornice.
