what color should i paint my room...?

okay so my room is average size and it has dark cherry wood floor. the floor almost looks black. my bed is off white. i dont really care what color it is, i just dont want it to be white.
 
i just redid my room. my furniture is white with light wood color accents (almost tan color). i painted it this berry red. it is dark but with the white furniture it looks awesome. make sure though that you get it bold cuz if it is dark and dull it will not look good... hope i helped (:
 
an aquamarine color would be really pretty or a blue of any sort really, or periwinkle. and then add accents with a lighter mossy green and tan accents. it would make it feel beachy and peaceful.
 
I think painting with tan and burgundy would look beautiful. The burgundy would bring out the slight red in the floor and the tan wouldnt make it look so dark. I think burgundy and tans or light browns would look wonderful. Hope this helps!
