what color should i paint my room?

my favorite color is blue, but i am a girl and i cant paint my room blue because other people might think i am like a tomboy; my mom suggest that i should paint my room pink because it matches me, but i hate the color pink. what should i do?
 
You should paint it perhaps baby blue. Then it would have the color you like and plus its lighter then it would bring out the softer side of you

firstly, you shouldn't give a damn what anyone else thinks about YOUR room and secondly, blue is NOT just for boys.

paint your room whatever color you want but if you really are worried about it looking too boyish add some other colors to it.

try painting your room a nice sky blue and the edges a nice purple.
nothing manly about nice light purples!
