What color should I paint my room?

I'm 15 and right now my walls are like fake wood paneling. I kinda have a theme for my room blue curtains, pink throw pillows and bright striped pillow, green pink blue lanterns.

I think stripes would be cool but is it hard? and is it possible to paint over fake wood panelings (dont want to take them off)


i want something bright and fun! Thanks!!!
