What color should I paint my room? Please help!?

I started with a beautiful rug and chose colors and accent pieces to match.

Or you can start with your comforter?

I would start off with the bed which is usually the focal point.

Do you have a great art inspiration piece? Take the bright colors and put them on your bed and put some neutral accent colors from the piece and put them on your wall.

No matter what, you should have a room that looks pulled together.

Start with your inspiration piece and work from there.

I was wondering maybe I should paint light purple, hot pink, or a light blue green color. Please help !

Light blue pink would look nice, but it depends. If you want to make your room look smaller, then I would suggest a dark color. If you want it to look bigger, then a light color like white. Darker colors may make your room look smaller, but looks nicer and more creative imo.

Mine is alternating blue and green with purple on everything that is not a main wall...

it depends... if you can, you could do more than one color...
