What color on ignition 1995 Honda TRX300 and how to hotwire?

I have a Honda TRX300 that someone tried to steal but it doesnt run and they decided to just take the key. So, my next question is I already pulled the ignition and there is a red and black and 2 white wires which ones need to be arc'd? I want to make sure I have it right so I know its not the coil or spark plug thats bad.
