What clothes do you think is suitable for a fast food restaurant?

I have to do an assignment to design fast food restaurant work clothing and I was told to design SUITABLE clothes for a worker.
I really want my worker to wear a skirt. Do you think this is suitable enough?
And what clothing material type would you suggest?

I've worked in fast food and skirts are impractical. Khakis or black pants (professional), tucked in solid colored polos (can be embossed with company logo, they are clean looking, employees can show a bit of expression by choosing color and undershirts can be worn if they're cold), a belt (ass prevention), hat/visor (keeps hair out of.food) and a pair of non slip shoes (prevents stupid accidents) would work. Your company wouldn't have to shell put the money for specific uniforms because employees can buy everything themselves and they make the crew look uniform while effectively letting them do their job.
