What Cell Phone Should I Purchase From Verizon?

I have the Motorola Droid, my daughter has the Droid Eris, both are great phones, however, the new HTC Incredible is coming out on the 29th of the month and will blow both of those out of the water.

Stay away from anything LG, or blackberry. LG is just plain garbage, BB is over-rated for anything but texting/email with very limited apps, most of which will cost you $5 or more.

Android (the Droid series - Moto Droid, Droid Eris, Droid "Incredible" etc.) has over 40,000 apps now, growing at nearly 9,000/month, 2/3 of them are free.

I am getting a new phone and currently have a two year old, typical, nothing special phone. I've looked into the Droid & the Blackberrys but I haven't a clue what is good and what I should invest in. I need a phone that has Skype mobile b/c my hubby deploys alot & other than that I just text and call and maybe check email. What do you prefer... what are the pros/cons & if you have had both which do you recommend? Thanks in advance!!!!!!
