I am not a doctor, but in my own experience I can tell you that acid reflux can cause that sensation, although there are usually other symptoms also, such as burning in the esophagus and feeling like there is a lump in your throat.
You could also have an ulcer of some kind. These can cause a feeling of hunger sometimes.
In any event, if you can see a doctor, please do. It's probably something very simple and easy to fix, but you should not try to diagnose yourself or allow others to do so..
