According to scientistd, an explosion started the universe. But what caused the explosion? And what existed before the explosion? Was there time? How can an explosion just RANDOMLY occur?

BANGomglooktheuniverse!!!!!

Yeah, you see, I'm not sure the scientists are making the aspects of this theory clear to us homely, pickle snorting, middle class

So a boost would be appreciated..a boost up the FABOO LADDER OF LEARNING!

Excuse me, sirs. For I am just a meager citizen of a small plaster house. Who shops at wal-mart and buys store-brand ketchup, as opposed to heinz.

God made the big bang, he existed before it and there were nobody before him, if the Big Bang had occur randomly, there would have been more than one big bang.

The truth is, nobody knows what caused the Big Bang. There are some hypotheses, but no way of looking back to see what actually happened. The Big Bang theory explains how the universe has evolved *since* that unknowable starting point. The evidence supports the idea that the universe started out as pure energy around 13.7 billion years ago, rapidly expanded, condensed into matter which clumped together to form stars, galaxies, etc., and continues to expand today.
