What cartoon characters did you have a crush on as a kid?

For me from ages 4 to 11.

Adora (She-Ra). (My first love!)
Teela (He-Man). (Fine legs and a firey redhead that stunsP
Cheetara (Thundercats). (What boy wouldn't fall for her beauty?)
Scarlett (G.I. Joe). (Redhead hottie! i thought she was hotter then Lady Jaye)
Glimmer (She-Ra). (Pink Haired goodness! wrapped up in a sexy package)
Catra (She-Ra). (Blue haired ponytail villain babe hottie that ranks there with Shego from Kim Possible)
Frosta (She-Ra). (Another blue haired hottie from the show! No wonder people voted her the hottest girl on She-Ra)
April O'Neil (Ninja Turtles). (A true test for every young boy's future oriention)
Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). (The most beautiful Disney princess in my opinion)
Ariel (Little Mermaid). (Cutie chick who's hotter when she's on land)
Jenny (Bucky O'Hare). (Foxy Kitty girl from outer space)
Fifi Le Fume (Tiny Toons). (Amazingly cute furry babe that no young man can't resist)
Sally Acorn (Sonic SatAM). (My favorite furry girl so far! walks nude all the time and has the body of a swimsuit model)

-Sally Acorn (Sonic SatAM)
-Felicia Hardy/Black Cat (Spider-Man: TAS)
-Blackarachnia (Beast Wars) *I hated what they did to her in Beast Machines though*

Of course this was when I was a kid, however they still remain some of my favorite characters today. I even use to have a crush on Lara Croft.

Well, I can't remember too many at the moment. But for a starter I used to like Jasmine from Aladdin when I was about 6 years old.:p

I can't believe no one's mentioned Velma from Scooby-Doo. She was a case study in repressed sexual desire. She was the complete opposite from Daphne. While Daphne was completely open and flaunted her goods, Velma's character forced you to look a little deeper. How many other Scooby-Doo fans will admit they were secretly pleased when Velma finally took off that sweater in the Scoby-Doo movie?

A modern equivalent of the Velma character would be Yomiko Readman from the Read Or Die series of books, manga, and anime.

i never had any attraction to them, i lack the imagination to be able to immagine what their body's looked like under all the "armor" they wore.

their personalities were also pretty boring, and their characers werent interesting.

For a while in my early "Pok?mon" days, I had a crush on Jessie. In fact, I think I might have been one of the only fans at the time who preferred her instead of Misty.

EDITED so this won't just degenerate into yet another list thread.

I never had any crushes, animated or otherwise, as a kid. However, as an adult, there have been some animated females who have turned my head:

Nani from Lilo & Stitch-She's stunningly pretty, lives on the beach in Hawaii, and wears short shorts all the time. What's not to like?

Erin Esurance-I love her voice, the pink hair gives her an exotic quality and she fills out those black tights so nicely.

Kim Possible (as well as her mom, Mrs. Dr. Possible-I guess I have a thing for MILFs)

and of course, my current crush, Sarah Dubois from The Boondocks. So sweet, so lovely, so free-spiritedly liberal and such a babe-a-licious MILF.

If only Aaron MacGruder would feature her in more than 1 episode out of 6, dern it!

Agreed. I'm not off my trolley (not completely, anyway); I know these are just fictional characters and they don't really exist, so there's no conceivable way that I could ever hope to 'get with' them, but if nothing else, they inspire me to look for their real-life equivalents.

I'm still looking for my Sarah.

She's a very popular choice, actually.... I know quite the few fansites that are just for Gadget Hackwrench.

I can't really say I had too many crushes. I do think the 2k3 April O'Neil was better drawn than she should have been. And that belly shirt of hers adds to that effect. Especially how uggo the original April was. And I don't mean channel Six news April (Form fitting suit. Nuff said.), I'm refering to the ugly 1980's frizzy black haired comic book April. And the one that played her in the first movie wasn't that attractive either.

Acutally, that reminds me. I did kinda have a thing for Irma, maybe out of pitty, when I was 10. If she didn't dress like she was forever doing laundry, maybe her relationships would have gotten somewhere.

My first catoon crush was an animated host character for a programming block on a South African channel. That was back in elentrary school, and from what I've seen, she's no longer appears on the block.

My recent crush, is of Daria. A character who pretty much dealt with everything I had to in high school, has made me realized that I want a girlfriend, who's pretty much like her in real life, but I'd trade in her book smarts, for cartoon geekiness.

It's kinda wierd for anyone to have a crush on a fictional character, but so long as you acknowledge that she isn't real, and you try to find the traits in that character in someone in real life, than it's okay.
...I think.

I can't remember much but I'd say that when I was pretty young (maybe younger than her) I had a mild crush on Penny from Inspector Gadget :o

The original character design one mind you. Something about that fluffy looking hair, outfit, her brain and bravery. Plus she had that cool watch :p

There's nothing wrong with being attracted to an animated character, as long as you remain sane enough to understand that you can never forge a meaningful relationship with a drawing, you should be OK.

I have to agree with Dr. Tooth: April O' Neil (from the 2003 FOX Ninja Turtles) is hot. I know that she's supposed to be around 25, but she dresses like she's 18-20, but since I enjoy looking at her, I won't file a complaint. April from the 2007 movie TMNT was hot also. The 1987 syndicated version of April with the brown hair and the yellow jump suit did nothing for me.

Some other crushes:

Ellen Yin (The Batman)- Asian hotness.

Lindsey Thorndyke, b.k.a., Chris's mom (Sonic X)- Now I know that everyone hates the human characters in Sonic X, but I actually looked forward to the episodes that Lindsey was in, as I found her to quite the MILF. A pity that she only appeared in about 2 of of 10 episodes.

Starfire (Teen Titans-the comic, that is, not the TV version-TV's Starfire seemed too young, loving her would be a crime for me). A babe from outer space with super powers. What's not to like?
