What cartoon character should be brought back to life?

Cartoon characters that no longer are produced. Anything from Invader Zim to Huckleberry Hound (or earlier). What cartoon character really needs to be revived & get new episodes written?
 
I think if you made new episodes of old cartoons, they would suck! Can you imagine a 2009 Popeye?
 
I thought it was a terrible mistake for Marvel to kill Captain America, just because his style of patriotism isn't popular these days.

There may come a time when we wish we had him back....
