I know they are both older vehicles but its what I can afford for now, currently I own a 1994 Ford Taurus 3.0 AX OD transmission, auto, but the transmission is going out, I can get a new transmission in for $1250 or I have a friend who is trying to get rid of a 1993 Toyota Corolla station wagon for $500, he said it has emission issues not sure what yet, but I know most of emission problems are easy to fix. which would be the better option for now til I can get a new car later on this year or possibly next year. Thanks to anyone who answers
