What car do you prefer ? A second handed toyota corolla 2004 ? Or a new Mazda 3 ?

well if your looking for sporty then go mazda. but other than that go with the toyota
 
Both should be good cars.
The Corolla will be at least $5K less expensive and you avoided the depreciation hit. You may be able to negotiate down to $9K if you are persistent.

If money is an issue, have the Corolla inspected by an independent mechanic. If it checks out, get it.
 
Depending on the condition of the toyota,meaning if it's not beat to hell,has never been in a major accident and has been serviced regularly,I would go with the toyota.The mazda 3 although a reliable car being new, is absolutely gutless.The mazda 3 has way too much body roll and to me they feel like they''ve all come off the assembly line on a friday.
