I want to put in a sound system in my car (1998 Subaru Outback Legacy Limited) - Everything is currently stock.
Im going to build a custom sub enclosure for my trunk myself but i want to know what kind of sub i should get (size, power, brand. etc.) as well as what else i need? (amp, wiring, capacitor, 2nd battery, new deck, door speakers, tweeters??) also, should i make the box sealed or ported?
I listen to a lot of different types of music equally (alternative, rock, drum and bass, house, rap, etc.) It would definitely be nice to be able to shake my car but i don't like to drive around with huge bass blaring and disturbing people all the time lol, so perhaps i need sound quality over ridiculous thump?
it would also be nice to be able to play my music while the engine is off and not kill the battery
Im on a budget, absolutely cant spend more than $300...so ill probably buy used right, tight budget i know, so what will even be possible for that budget?
