what can you use to drug a fish?

hello,
my fish has been lying on its side on the ground for like two weeks now. He seems miserable. I read some possible ways to euthanize a fish. I do not want to cut its head off or hit it with a large rock. Are there any substances I could use to drug it and or poison it in a humane way
