Sitting near my home is a great 1977 Ford Sidestep in a deep sky blue. It's for sale, and boy am I tempted. I've always wanted an old classic Ford pickup with wood boards in the bed, which this one has. Before I approach the owner I want to know what I should ask when speaking to him, but I can't find much information on this model. I'm assuming it's a gas guzzler, but eventually I'm going to convert it to an alternative fuel source. It will need to pass an emissions test, I know that much. The current owner seems to have a hobby of rebuilding old cars, which is a plus, but I would welcome any input before calling him. I would only be driving this within city limits. Thanks for any feedback!!
