I am a transfer student into the University of Florida. I wanted to major in Business but they have recently raised the GPA to a 3.8 for transfer students I have a 3.4. An ad visor told me that students that do not get accepted into the business program usally go to the college of agriculture and major in food and resource economics. I have already been accepted into the program and start in the fall but i can not find any solid information on this degree, I feel like iv been mislead. If anyone has any info like what types of careers and money i can expect to make from this degree would be greatly appreciated. Some how i feel like the only thing I can do with this degree is some sort of agriculture related field.
