What can keep me motivated at the gym?

I go to the gym about three days a week. i listen to my iPod and have water with me but sometimes i'm on a mat to do crunches and up just laying there looking at the sky.. what can keep me motivated to do those crunches and more!
 
Get a friend to come with you! I find that it is way easier to actually work out because you have someone there with you. It's like you are obligated to work hard. You can also try imitating what other people are doing. Or scope out someone in the room you want to impress, and work hard to make them notice you! ;)
 
You need a goal. Also, consider changing up your workout. Find a work out group to be a part of rather than just going it alone. Also another thing that can help is to find an alternate way to do exercise like taking Karate lessons or Tae Kwon Do or Judo. All will help with flexibility and help keep you in shape but gives more of a purpose to the work out.
