What can I wear with my denim jacket? Do people still wear them anyways?

I recently just bought a Calvin Klein denim jacket, it was on sale, and I loved it on. But I can't figure out two things a) why I don't see anyone wear them anymore XD and b) what TO wear with them. I know that I'm definatley NOT ever gonna wear jeans with them. I was thinking a dress or plaid shorts. Would that be okay? I'm also a 16-year-old female if that matters ^-^

Well personally I am not a big fan of denim jackets. But lately I have been seeing more and more people wearing them. Anyway, denim jackets look great with flowy,floral dresses.
