I'm making Indian Samosas. To make the cover I have to mix together flour, oil, and salt and gradually add water. Following that I knead the dough until pliable.
The recipe then says to cover with a moist muslin cloth and set aside for 15 minutes. There are no fabric stores in my vicinity and I don't have the time to drive 30 minutes to go to one.
Is there anything I can use in place of the muslin cloth? I've heard that pretty much all it is is cotton so would a cotton cloth be ok to use?
Thank you all for any help and input
