I don't want people to think i sound retarded asking that but I have a large black lab who is washed frequently and has gotten dry skin because of it. I have tried many flea medications but he keeps getting fleas because my neighbor has 20 cats [No exaggeration] who are all covered in fleas and get them on my dog , There is like new kittens every 2 weeks , any ideas ?

Firstly, report your neighbor to the SPCA. Animals shouldn't have to suffer like that.

For your yard, try rock salt. We have an acre of property surrounded by every wild animal you could imagine and rock salt has kept us flea free for as long as I can remember.

Bathe your dog in ADAMS FLEA SHAMPOO and when he drys off put Frontline on him. It protects him for a month. The shampoo is also soothing to dry skin. As for the backyard get a flea fogger from your vet and spray your yard but it may not help all that much your problem is next door report your neighbor to someone who will listen and care

I would report it as well. SOMETHING that would work though...sucks that it has to be out of pocket though..is call a lawn service and they can actually come out and spray your yard for fleas...this is a miracle and does work. I have had every yard I have had sprayed and honestly haven't seen a flea on either of my dogs. That is my best advice and it isnt too expensive either.
